[edit] How to develop the workshops

first: You have an idea, plan or problem to be solved? Sketch a Poster! Do this with an appealing short phrase (because you want for sure people to join). Pin it to the walls of Raum D with duck tape.

second: Set up a group. Discuss how far you want to come in solving the problem - draw the idea ... define a goal to be reached within the LDC. And attract people to join: At least you need a reporting person and some folks who want to put hand on the problem ;-)

third: Just do the work. Even if "meet an great" is an important part of LDC, the workshops should focus on work. So keep your eyes on the collaborative work effort. There is plenty of time for schmoozing during lunch, dinner and punch. If you want, elect someone in your group to keep the eye on the timeline.

[edit] How to connect the efforts

On both days we will have a plenary meeting. This is good for presenting the workshops goals an achievements. Be prepared for that: So ensure, that you have some PPTs, Posters or a electrifing speech prepared. The better the plenarys are, the better is the mood within the LDC.

Work with our Wiki. Don't get information, knowledge and work get lost on loose paperwork. The Wiki is open, you can register you account by yourself.

[edit] Find your way back

You are not stuck to Raum D. There are plenty of possibilities to have a workshop in Museumsquartier. Go into Kantine (just on the end of the corridor), go for a longer coffee into MQ-Daily (just near the main entrance), have a snack at MUMOKA (the uncrowded cafe behind the black MUMOK-Cube), or go into Cafe Leopold (inside the white cube). They all have W-Lan (ask for the password). But find your way back to Raum D for plenary meetings and common program tracks. Maybe it would be whise to set your mobile's alarm clock.
